Alex has had a lot of cool stuff about him during April and May month. It all started with him earning his Arrow of Light! This is the top award of cub scouts.
The pack leaders planned an Indiana Jones themed ceremony:

Alex is running for 6th grade Senator. Here is one of his posters!
Alex had a birthday! He is 11 years old! I really can't believe it. He picked a Thai food restaurant. It was really good. He loves noodles. So we ordered a bunch of things that had noodles. Loved it!
Alex is now a boy scout instead of a cub scout. So he gets to go on camps! And lucky for him- they had a camp right after his birthday!

and they got to shoot real rifles- 22's.
They also tried to start fires with flint and steel.

We played a candy ball game.
And yes we played some minute to win it games. Yes, it is just like Chase's party. But this is what kids like and none of the kids are the same- so it is just recycling good ideas!

Alex has had a big school project called Exhibition. This has been going on at school for about 3-4 weeks. They are learning about problems in our world and trying to come up with solutions. Alex's group was assigned Invasive Species. He spent hours on a power point presentation, he went around and collected money from the neighbors, he really cares about his topic. He was so excited to go to the exhibition night. This is his group.

Wow Alex's life has been busy! He was so good as Gaston. He really has talent for acting. He should be in theater when he gets to high school.
