Phoenix Family!

We finally made it to Phoenix!

First off, we got to see Jill and Jimmie and their apartment and the new house that they are building. We hung out at a cool park. The birds there really liked our lunch until Chase decided to scare them all off.

Jill had fun bubbles to chase around.

There were turtles in this lake. I don't think I have ever seen turtles in the "wild" before. (A park is in the wild-- right?)  Oh, and by the way, Jimmie takes way more pictures then I do- I am so glad not to be the only one with a camera. The best part is- he takes great pictures!

I just love the Cacti in Arizona. It is so beautiful- in a desert kind of way.

We explored around some Indian ruins

Our lunch spot was very un-Arizonia-ish. There were shade trees, a little stream and green stuff all around. You drive for miles and don't see this kind of scenery. It was a perfect place for the kids to play around.

They made a caterpillar daycare. They named one of them "Phil with an F".

We went on lots of off-road trips in Jeff's Jeep.  The kids though this was very cool.

It was perfect. We won't even mention the rattle snake we saw right in the middle of the road!

The next day was the Saturday before Easter. We had a fun Easter egg hunt with our cousins.
We won't even mention the scorpion we found as we were looking for the eggs!

Making a conscious decision to eat as much candy as possible and get a sugar high.

We had been going non-stop for days- we decided to take it easy and just hang out at Jeff and Allie's house. They have a fun house to just hang out at.
