Soccer

Chase and Alex played a lot of soccer games this fall. 

Chase is number 8 on the red team.

The picture above is to show that Chase spent the majority of the game on the ground. For some reason he likes to fall dow.

Alex's team was so good this year. It was amazing how good they got over the summer! They seemed to be a lot more mature and understand the game better. Oh, and... Andre was the coach. Of course that is why they were so much better! Alex was number 6 on the grey team.

Alex was mostly defense. He totally got the idea of it and blocked lots of goals.

The boys each got a ticket to a Real Salt Lake game. They loved it. Alex loves Kyle Beckerman. Chase just loves soccer. This game had a huge rain delay (lightning really). But the boys just had a lot of fun playing in the stadium.

We love soccer but we are kind of tired of it taking over our lives. Winter will be a nice break and soccer will come again in the spring.


I wanted to have some soccer videos in this blog.

Here is one of Chase that shows how fun 4 year old soccer is.  He is not wiggly at all. This was at the beginning of the season, and he did improve (a little).
