Tanner's first camp

Tanner got to go to Escalante with the scouts this year. They did so many cool hikes

This is on the way down- it was a short-ish break from driving.

The next day they started hiking. They did about 13 miles this day.

Slot canyon!

Tanner loves to climb

They loved this hill when they were going down it... They hated it when they were hiking up it at the end.

They jumped off of this hill into the water.

They went to a reservoir and swam, canoed and stuff.
After they got out, some one came over and told them that there are leaks in that reservoir.

This is called Peek a Boo canyon.

And there are a few trees in that area.

They would hike in the morning and then later in the day. But during the really hot middle of the day, they were in an RV with an air conditioner on. It is Hot there!

Tanner loved it and he loved being there with most of his friends. The leaders were really great. Tanner really liked all of them. I appreciate all that they did for my son.
