Jill was here the whole month so far, but we did do some stuff that was not Jill's family related.
Jaxon worked a lot. A LOT. Like he worked almost every day. Such a good boy.
The problem with that is that his foot started hurting. Not a little hurt- it was torture to go to work kind of hurt. So he wore my boot to work to take the pressure off of his foot. We took him to the doctor and found out that he has a growth on one of his bones and that he will need surgery to remove it. So now we are in the process of planning that.
The Beehives and Deacons went to the temple. I am now a beehive leader so I get to see things like this. It makes me happy.
We went to the MTC open house. This was a good tour. Jaxon's work schedule changed so he could not go with us.
The boys picked where they wanted to go on the map. Chase didn't really care, he just pointed to anywhere. Then he said that he does not want to go to Mexico because then he would have to eat salsa.
The new buildings!

The new buildings are amazing and the old buildings brought lots of memories back. It was such a great tour, that I decided that I would take Jaxon later.
The boys and I have gone to seven peaks a few times. This was the last time of the summer. They love it, but they are kind of disappointed that the fun slides are closed because they never get fixed, or they never have enough lifeguards to open the lazy river. We love the wave pool though.
One day we went bowling because Tanner hasn't gone bowling all summer.
So, Jaxon finally got a day off of work, I took him to the MTC tour. He chose South Korea.
Just a random picture of inside the new building. It is so nice.
Jaxon by the new building
If you look closely, you can see the missionaries studying in their classes
The artwork is fabulous and adds so much to the building. This painting is probably 7feet by 20feet.
And then it was the last day of summer. It went really fast. I asked the kids what they wanted to do. they didn't know. I took them to classic because they love to skate. Tanner is the rollerblade king you know.
Terrible picture- but it shows the skating stuff. They also took their money and wasted it in arcade games. The perfect summer activity.
Other non- picture stuff:
Tanner got 5 teeth pulled. This involved lots of appointments to get the braces off, then getting teeth pulled and then getting braces back on. This also involved lots of pain in his jaw.My sister Joanna has had my kids over to relax and hang with her a couple of times.
My van had a lot of trouble starting lately. We got a new battery and that wasn't the problem. It was the starter. So it is a good thing we got that fixed. We went a lot of places, getting stuck would not be ideal.
Lots of going through clothes, making kids try stuff on, and buying new stuff for school. That is always "fun".
