Our stake held a trek this year.
This is when you dress like a pioneer and pull a handcart. You learn lots of life lessons and learn how much the pioneers sacrificed for you.
These two guys went.
It was early in the a.m.
Here is a pict of Jaxon and his friend Austin who were in the same trek family.
Here is Tanner hanging out with his trek family
And off they went.
Are you wondering how I got pictures of this event? Well...
Some other people had to go and pretend to be pioneers. It was us.
We were asked to cook food for 400 people.
So, we got to take pictures of Tanner wearing all the trek bracelets that he could gather.
and Tanner with his family waiting to start trekking the second day.
and Jaxon and his family waiting to start trekking.
Here they are, lined up ready to go.
See all of those garbage sacks? those are the sleeping bags and tents of all the families that Andre got to move every day.
This is the camp site
