Museum day

It has been a long winter. The weather keeps teasing us that it might someday get warm. Saturday was pretty cold but we needed to get out and do something. We went to the Hill Air Force Base museum. It was cool to see all the planes.
Jaxon liked the replica of an atom bomb.
Anytime there was any kind of screen, the kids were all over it, even if it was boring.
Jaxon got to see Air Force One! Even if it was an old version.

We found a display of flags. Some of my boys are into flags. They loved it.
This helicopter was humungous.
Then we went outside.
Tanner was a plane.
It was fun to explore.
See that guy in the background? The one under the wing. After I took the picture, Andre recognized him as one of our neighbors. We talked to him for a while and found out that they were going to go the same place as we were going to go next. Weird.

Then we drove to Union Station in Ogden. They have a bunch of museums. There was a train museum...

They had a cool model train that went forever,
The kids were running all over following it.

There was a gun museum. (This is where we saw our neighbor again)
Mini-guns were a favorite.
Alex was getting shot.
Chase was loving it. He loves guns.
They had an old car museum too.

It was a fun day and we got out of the house. It was great.

We've been to all those places too. So fun for boys who are really into planes and trains. A long way for you to come - what a cool mom!
