Was it worth all that work?
Starting August 4th, Jaxon's entire life has been marching band (and school of course).
They had 2 weeks of non-stop marching band. Twelve hour days are really long.
They had 3-4 practices a week during September plus playing at Bingham football games.
October had 2 days during the month that they didn't have a practice, performance, traveling day, or competition. Those were 2 of the Sundays in October.
Fun Fact. Going into the state championship (in St. George) Bingham was first place by about .0003 points. (Not by much, but hey- it was first place!)
They totally won! They played the best they played all season. They all felt great about their performance- and they totally did it!
When they came home- the South Jordan police and fire departments met all four buses at the freeway and escorted them to the school.
The families and student government were all lined up at the school to great them.
Can you see Andre and I? Chase is there too. The other brothers are there- but you can't see them.
We welcomed him home!

Jaxon's brothers had made signs for him.
They got to light the B
Jaxon is above the umbrella.
They sang the school song and gave their cheer.
Jaxon has learned a lot. He can do hard things!
And anything worthwhile is going to take a lot of work.
That is a State Champ
