Trying to get out of the January Dulldrums

January is cold and dark and cold. 

We have been staying home a lot. Because it is warmer there. 

But now we need to get out a little bit. But everything indoors costs a lot of money. So we decided to go sledding. 

We researched a new place to go and found a very cool place. 

So, down the hill we went...

and when they got to the bottom...

They had to go check out the ice.

It seems that it is a water retention place. It had 5-7 inches of frozen solid ice. 

so we had to sled on it. 

Down the hill...

and onto the ice...

Once you got on the ice... you could go all the way across the pond. 

See him half way across? 

And all the way to the grass area?

And... they made me do it too.

And I didn't die.
