Camp Steiner Alex and Chase

Alex AND Chase got to go to scout camp together this year. 

AND... Andre is a scout leader. So he was there too. 

I got lots of pictures because Andre was there.

As soon as they got there it was swim check time. They want to make sure that you can swim before they send you out to the middle of the lake and tell you to get out of your boat.

One of the mornings, Chase did the Polar Bear. They wake up at 6:00 and jump in the water, swim, say the scout oath, the swim back. All my boys had done it- so Chase felt the pressure.

Chase did canoeing.

They had to swamp their canoes and learn to get the water out in the shallows and in the deep.

Alex did fly fishing

Alex also did climbing. Unfortunately- batteries were out this day- but someone got a picture of people climbing from a distence. It is cool to see the rock they were climbing on. You can see people climbing if you look close. It was Alex. For sure.

Camp fires are awesome. Chase has a grey hoodie with green stripes.

Thursday morning Andre, Alex, and Giovanni woke up at 5:00am to go on a sunrise hike.

Chase did rowing.

After the testimony meeting they all hugged because they felt the spirit so strongly and there was a lot of friendship building.
