Bubbles!

Remember my 2 year old who likes to do things by himself? He gets really dirty. So we have a lot of baths. He loves the bubbles. So enjoy pictures of a silly boy in the tub. This boy says funny things. He loves Toy Story and always says, "To Buzz and beyond!" (instead of 'To infinity and beyond'). He loves to jump. He jumps off of tables, chairs, me, anything. He likes to yell, "to Buzz and beyond" as he jumps. He loves to say, "That's the spirit!" He usually does not say it at the correct time. But it usually is funny. Like when you have just buckled his seat belt, "that's the spirit!" Lately he comes to me and snuggles with me. He likes to say, "mom, when I get big, I want to get married." I don't really know where it comes from, maybe it was on a show? I ask him who he is going to marry and he doesn't know. But he thinks he is pretty cool for saying that he is going to get married. We were driving past thepumpkin patch. All the pumpkins were gone and the dirt plowed under. Chase was very impressed by the empty field. I told him that they were old and plowed into the dirt. He said, "No, they not. Aliens came and got them. They took them to their homes in space. They like to eat them!" He has an opinion and he wants to do things by himself. He wants to pick his own clothes to wear. He usually goes to his pajama drawer and picks 2 shirts- no pants. He wants to feed himself, but mostly refuses to use utensils. He loves to "play" with legos. This consists of dumping them on the ground and spreading them throughout the room. He is already asking to drive the car. Every time we get in the car. It gets old. Chase loves to be big and is constantly telling me how big he is growing. He wants to do everything that his big brothers are doing. He loves to play with Alex and if he is not with Alex, he will always ask me, "where's Alex?" over and over.

There are so many funny things that Chase does and says. I can never remember them. I will try to be better at writing them right when he says them.

Just remembered a couple more. During the Primary program in Sacrament meeting Chase was... interesting. The kids sang the song Follow the Prophet. Part of that song says "Follow the prophet, he knows the way!" Chase was in the audience and sang it with them full voice, "Follow the prophet, he goes away!" The kids sang that song all the way through the program because it has so many verses. He sang it that way every time. He wasn't trying to sing the wrong words. He was just singing what he thought it was. Now, during a primary program, each kid has a part and many of them mention Jesus. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME Chase heard someone say "Jesus", he would say at the top of his lungs, "Jesus Christ Amen." Like it was the end of a prayer or something. It wouldn't have been so bad except he would yell it. Then laugh because he knew he was making us crazy. Sacrament meeting is so fun with two year olds.

There's something about kids and water. It's always entertaining.
