Jaxon was on TV! He is on the news with his choir for the Lights On ceremony for Salt Lake City.
You can see him for one second when they show the choir. He is wearing a grey coat. The song in the background of the story is them singing.
Click this link, if it does not come up right away, click the black box that says video:
He is also in the Deseret News story at this site: You have to click on "see all pictures" and there he is!
Here is Jaxon singing away. He is on the second row in the middle. He has a grey coat with a white stripe on it.
Thurl Bailey (a former player for the Utah Jazz) sang with them during the warm up. I was surprised what a great singer he is.
They sang right next to the Energy Solutions Arena (where the Jazz play).
Our little two boys didn't really like it. They whinned the whole time. Then Alex fell asleep. We were right next to the speakers and the songs were blasting at us. He fell asleep despite the noise, and Chase just kept asking to go home.
Grandma and Grandpa came down to see him sing.
We used this as our chance to see the lights at Temple Square. The kids were happiest when we were inside the visiters centers! They had already been outside for a while and it was COLD.
We saw the statue of Jesus. The middle boys wanted me to get a picture of them with Jesus.
The other boys really don't like getting their picture taken.

Sooo cool! Go Jaxon. And it WAS cold. Soooo cold. ;)
What a fun experience for all of you, except the cold part. You're a great mom! I have actually heard Thurl Bailey sing too, and you're right, he is good.
