May stuff

You might think that May was all about my dad and mom and grieving and stuff. But not so. May is actually a really busy month for us. We did as much as we could. Chase missed his last two games of soccer and Andre missed some of his games also. But here are some of the fun things our kids have been up to.

Cub scouts! I get pictures of Alex since he is with me. Chase has fun too- just no pictures.

I helped in Chase's class. They had a Cinco de Mayo party where they made pinatas

Alex has been playing baseball. He loves it. This is his last year since he is already too old.

He is on the White Sox team this year.

Tanner has played on the young men's futsol team.

He has had a fun time.
Andre helped Chase and Alex make boats for the Cub scout Raingutter Regallia.
And... Here is the race!
Chase...

They had a lot of fun.
Here is Alex

Here is Tanner as a yellow belt in Hapkido
Then he had a test

And then the next class, he gets to be a green belt!
With two other guys who started with him and Master Haile

And here are some pictures of the boys at the Father/ son camp. They were there for about 4 hours. They had a lot of fun. But then they had a cry fest on the way home.

Jaxon had a band performance

Chase had a performance at the school where they all did little plays. Chase was in "The Three Bears". They didn't have enough people so the teacher was baby bear.

Chase's friend Cable was Goldilocks. It was really funny to see him with yarn hair. But this is a bad picture so you can't see him.

Tanner made this cool thing in his art class. It is a hydra.  It is papier-mache.
He is so creative.

Alex had a fourth grade recorder concert.

He had a special part. He was the student conductor.
He got to point to the note names and count the rhythm.

He was looking forward to this concert so much. He was so excited.

So that was all the kid activities during May. They are great kids and (for the most part) try their best in what they are doing.
