Friday we had our last day of Theme Parks

Knotts Berry Farm!

I have never been here but I have heard about it a lot.

 They let us in the park at 9:30 but it didn't open until 10:00 so we spent that 1/2 hour trying to find a way to sneak past the people stopping us (some of us did anyway- can you guess who?). 

So this picture below is right at 9:59 and we were just ready to run off in the direction of the big coasters!

 They got on this one. There was no line so that was nice. It has been a week and a half so I can't remember what any of the rides are called anymore. Sorry.

 Then they got on this ride and I can read the name of it.

 Andre took this picture of Alex and Chase 2 seconds before the coaster took off at 100 miles an hour. They had no idea it was going to do that because there was no line and they just walked on without watching anyone go.

 Then they did this.

I watched them come off and they were laughing so hard and they had had so much fun because it was such a surprise. 

 I think this is silver bullet.

If you zoom in you can see my boy's feet on this ride. This was the beginning of the long lines. Because it was Friday we really had to wait in some long lines.

 Then we went on the log flume ride. This was the line for it. I really liked their log flume ride. It was really long and had 2 different hills.

Then we went on a ride that said moderate thrills. We could all go on it together and the line was not too long. 

 Alex held his smile like that the whole ride.

 You can tell how exciting it was. Look at those faces. This was while we were going on the ride.  We didn't go on any of the moderate thrill rides again. They were only going for the super scary rides.

 Like this one. It was a crazy slingshot type ride.

 This is the line for Jaguar. I like it because it shows my boys just having fun and enjoying each other.

This is Alex with some coasters behind him. I think that is Jaguar. 

 Then it was hot. (the weather had been great for us while we were in CA. This day it was probably 90- but it was not too bad.) So we went over to the water ride. It is the one where you get super soaked. Here are some pictures in line. The lines were just getting progressively longer.

 Yes we got soaked. That is good because it was hot. We got dinner and we had to wait forever and we paid way too much for the food and barely had any shade to sit in. 

All the boys decided that they were about done. So we just hit a few more rides. 

This is a tall tower thing that takes you up and you can see everything around us. It was nice because we could relax while riding. 

 While we were on that, Alex and Tanner were on this one. Alex loves the drop coasters.

 This was the wild mouse one.

On the way out they hit the last ride that was a 4 on the scale from 1-5 on scary-ness. We had gone on all the 4's and 5's. They were in line for an hour and the ride was kind of dumb. So they were super ready to leave. 

We got back to our hotel (10 minute walk) and rested. Because we had eaten lunch at about 3:30- 4:00 and it was a lot of food, we were not really hungry for dinner. But later we went to an ice cream place right next to our hotel and enjoyed ice cream. 

 The boys were super hyper- especially Alex. Especially when Jaxon was teasing him.

Then the ice cream came. It was so good. 

 Yea for ice cream!
