Jaxon

Missionary pictures!

These were part of our family photo shoot. Jaxon didn't have a suit at that time- but he does now!

Then he wore colors more matching our family clothing.
Jaxon is super funny and loves to sing and make noises ans tease his brothers. He is just a funny guy.
I had to put this picture in because It took me 6 hours to hem his temple pants. Seriously. I am not loving the sewing stuff.

Here is another weird scripture reading picture. (with my feet in it) Jaxon likes to have a tel- evangelist voice during his turn. This is what I am talking about- he likes to bring humor to everything.

These scripture reading pictures are all clandestine because I wanted them to be natural.

And them we had a cool day. Jaxon went to the temple. That was awesome.
I was super emotional during the session. I guess it is because I was so excited to see my son at the temple learning all this cool stuff. This is what life is really about. This is the purpose of life.
 Grandma and Joey were there.

Also-- guess who got glasses?

Jaxon is pretty awesome.

Jaxon is trying to go on lots of bike rides, he is working at Spirit Halloween, he is playing magic 2-3 nights a week.

We also had him start physical therapy for his foot. It would have probably been good for all year- but didn't really know about it. Chase's PT got me thinking. It will be good to work on any scar tissue that Jaxon has plus give him some ideas for stretching and strength building for his foot. His foot has not had pain lately. That is a relief. I am worried about his foot while on a mission. Jaxon is worried. But we are having faith. Hopefully all this waiting for a mission time has healed it enough.

Jaxon is the sunday school teacher for the seniors in high school. He has done a great job. He used to be a team teacher but they released the other guy and never replaced him. So Jaxon has been it for a while.

At the beginning of the month Jaxon put on a Cthulhu game for some of his friends. Wikipedia will help you out here: "Cthulhu is a fictional cosmic entity created by writer H. P. Lovecraft and first introduced in the short story "The Call of Cthulhu", published in 1928. Considered a Great Old One within the pantheon of Lovecraftian cosmic entities, the creature has since been featured in numerous popular culture references."

Anyway, it is kind of like D and D where you present a fictional story and then people decide what to do... Jaxon had prepared a lot and had a lot of fun with his friends. He painted four paintings, made some kind of silver spear, and made a journal (like wrote in it like he was the character. He wants to do another story in November after his job slows down and before his mission. He bought a doll  at the DI that he says looks creepy. It has been showing up all over our house in creepy places...

We love our Jaxon and are so excited for him to get on his mission!
