Time to carve the pumpkins!

We must find the perfect idea from the internet. What did we do before google?
I did not think that Jaxon would have time to do a pumpkin this year. So I bought him a bumpy weird pumpkin (gourd really) because it just looked cool. But guess what? He was home!
His pumpkin would Not cut. It was solid rock. So he got creative and painted it. It has a knife stuck in the nose.
Chase had a batman design this year.

He is one of those guys in blue on the front row (I think) It is so hard to tell where he is.
He has had band competitions or practices every day in October but two Sundays. Every. Day. He is tired. But happy. He's making friends and enjoying himself.
When Jaxon was at the Timpanogos competition, we decided to go mini golfing. Well, we wanted to go to lazer tag. But they have temporarily turned that into a haunted house. And we were too early to go to the haunted house- so we were stuck with mini golf.
It is always fun except when you get to the ball eating holes. But they got it back!
The best part was this video game where you could play donkey kong and pacman and space invaders and all of those old games that Andre and I grew up with.
Chase used his tokens on the lazer game. You have to make it through a maze of lazers without touching one.
Alex loved the skeeball.
Tanner is always so thoughtful. He always says, "that was so fun mom, thanks for taking us here". That is a great attribute for a kid.
Tanner went on a scout camp-out on Saturday. Andre went with him to help the scout leaders.
Chase had a soccer game- I'm waiting until the end to have it's own blog.
Alex and Chase watched Harry Potter and the goblet of fire. (Chase's first time through on the ones where Harry is older) They got to spend a fun evening with grandma and grandpa.
Alex and Janelle went to a play at Hale Center Theatre called Big Fish. It was fabulous. Alex came out with stars in his eyes wanting to be an actor.
Andre had a doctor's appointment about his foot (can't remember if that was this week or last). It has been hurting for more than a month. Good news is that it is not broken. He has some exercises and stuff to help it heal.
Tanner gave a talk in sacrament meeting yesterday. His first one ever. He did a great job and did not even look nervous.
Last week was the end of first quarter for my three younger boys. I sure have some good kids. I think out of the three of them in all their subjects there was only one B+. All the rest were A's. They are a bunch of smarty pants.
