It's the Holiday Season

Thanksgiving! We love going to my moms for great food.

And then we played lots of games.

And ate pie.

Our Thanksgiving tree. We wrote things we are thankful for. They came up with fun and creative things.

We started our Christmas season off with a great play. We saw Savior of the World at the conference center. It really does help with realizing how much the savior has done for us and what we should be celebrating during this month.

Alex finished his paint by number.

Chase had a class presentation. It was on Native Americans. He was able to take his Grandma's real indian morter and pestal.
He was able to take his Grandma's real native American morter and pestal. He did a great job and felt pretty special to have something that cool to share.

The webelos did leather work. They always love that.

The other night I was sitting on the couch and decided that my family was being cute. I took pictures of them.
Andre was helping Tanner practice his Spanish.
Alex was playing the piano in the light of the tree.
Chase was practicing  his spelling words.

Jaxon was in his room doing homework.

We started our Christmas activity Advent thing. We have an activity we do each day as we count down to Christmas.

Day one: we are also trying to do the #light the world event where we serve someone everyday on our way to Christmas so we did both things by going to Grandma's and bearing her burdens by carrying all her boxes to her basement. Then we went to find a bell ringer and filled her bucket with coins.

Day two: We made sugar cookies.

Guess what? Chase started his basketball league this week. He is so cute.

Day three of the countdown to Christmas- We went to Gardiner Village to buy our family ornament for this year. We also checked out the elves that they have up. It was cold!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
