BART

Just wanted to interrupt the telling of what we did- with a few pictures of us taking public transportation. I didn't take too many and they are not the best. I was surprised at how crowded and busy everything was. It was always crowded on every train or bus we took.

See? the named the train system after us!

This is where the Barts entered.

Waiting for a train. (Jaxon was a great sport and carried our backpack full of jackets around all the time! Hooray for grown up children)
 Standing on a crowded bus
Tanner loved standing and hanging on. He is a monkey you know.

We tried to find places for the little boys to sit.

It was fun. It was hard to stand after a long day of walking everywhere but so much better than trying to park a lot of different places. We spent a lot of time on line ahead of time to understand the system and the routes and what bus to take when to get where. So I felt like we were prepared for that. We did feel like it was too expensive. We paid about 60 dollars each day for buses and trains. That is cheaper than parking would have been at multiple places. We could have gone to the main bus terminal and gotten cheaper tickets for our 3 youngest but that was out of the way and when we did go it was on our way home and they were closed. So we just paid. We knew San Fran was an expensive city when we decided to go there.
