Tanner was so lucky. He decided to go to camp with the 14 year olds. But a few weeks before the 12-13 year old camp, someone had to drop out, so Tanner was asked to fill in. Two camps for Tanner! He loved it!
They were at Bear Lake. This was how close their camp was to the water.
They did leather work- I think they got the merit badge
Tanner and Ryan got a rocket merit badge
They had really good food at camp- lots of bacon wrapped things.
scouty things
Wilderness survival
They climb to the top of that hill, build a shelter and survive all night.
They did the Polar Bear challenge. Go in the water early in the morning and dunk. This is not as cold as it would be if they were at a colder lake- but still cold.
warming up afterward.
breakfast with camping neighbors.
They did shot gun shooting. This is the shooting of flying disks. Tanner did a great job at this- even though it is really hard.
He also did horseback riding. This was really fun for him.
He also did sail boating and swimming, and generally had a great time.
The scout leaders are so great and I really appreciate them.
