We went up to Bear Lake last week to meet up with Andre's family.
It was going to be great because most of us were going to be there.
Well, we got a phone call on Tuesday that Andre's dad was going to have quadruple bypass surgery on Thursday so he and Carol would for sure miss it. Then 3 of the families decided to go to St. George to be with Gordon instead of going to Bear Lake. Which of course is awesome. We were going to head down also but we thought it would be too much to have our whole family show up in St. George when Gordon was going to be asleep most of the time. So 3 of the families decided to meet up at Bear lake anyway- praying for Gordon's quick recovery.
It was a lot of fun with the small group. We missed the rest of the family but we were glad they were supporting Carol and Gordon.
So... we had a lot of sitting around on the beach with Andre's sisters Yvette and Nicole and theior husbands, Roger and Lee.
We had a lot of sand castle building. I think they made a town.
Cousin Kim rented a long board and let us try it out. They had a lot of fun with it. This is Andre
Tanner
Alex and Chase
Jaxon- way out there
Cousins Heather, Mick and Kim wrestled a lot in the water
This is Yvette's family out in the water. I thought it was a cool pic.
There was a lot of football throwing...
beach dart thingys
Frisbees
Oh! did I mention that Alia and Jose are getting married next month?
Well they are and they are so cute together.
Gordon and Carol really wanted a family picture of these guys. I don't think this is what they were thinking of. But I tried.
We camped
(it's not real camping if there is grass and the people next to you are within 2 feet of your tent.)
Then we went over to Nicole's family's site and had smores.
My kids were the only ones to eat smores.
My kids are really the only kids. Josh is the next youngest and he is 16 or 17.
Jaxon, Heather and Mick
Alex Josh and Tanner
Chase and Alex had a weird thing going on where they were acting like a two headed tv program?
Or something.
