Mountains

This summer we have played in the mountains a few times.

This is Cascade Springs. It is a pretty fun place to hike around and see the springs and flowers and waterfalls. (Tanner's face shows his attitude this day. I guess he can't be perfect everyday.) It is pretty cool to learn about. The water just pops up out of the ground and "cascades" down the hill for a while and makes all sorts of beautiful waterfalls and stuff, plus there are lots of plants, flowers, and wildlife that pop up because of the water. It was paved or planked and easy to do. So, family friendly in case you wanted to know.

We left cascade springs and had a picnic somewhere in Amercan Fork Canyon and everyone had fun throwing rocks into the river. My boys NEVER get tired of that. Never.

My nephews came to visit on their way home to AZ from our reunion/vacation in Washington. It was so fun to hang out with them again. This is playing up Millcreek canyon. We try to go up there every year with my parents. This is kind of a tradition that they take the grandkids up there and play in the water. My nephews are so cute and nice to my boys. They are 13, 11 and 8 so perfect friends for my older boys. Here are some cute photos.

You take a string and tie an empty water bottle to it. Then you throw them into the water and voila! hours of fun. Or as Alex and Chase said, "we're fishing for bottles".

Here are four lucky boys!
